Description this Italy miniature medal Star was awarded to lots of the services personnel in the second world war for service in the Italy area.It was awarded to personnel who had completed six monthes service in specified operational commands over seas, between 3 sept 1939- 2 sept 1945.Though in certain cases the minium period was shortened.
This miniature medal is outstanding quality .Obverse six pointed star has a circular centre with the GRI/V1 monogram, surrounded by a crown and inscribed the Italy star round the foot. Ribbon Five equal stripe of red, white, and green ,white and red (the Italian national colours..
